AD Code Registration Nhava Sheva, Exporters & Importers in Nhava Sheva required to register their Authorised Dealer (AD) Code and Bank Account(s) for purposes of remittances and availing export benefits respectively at every Customs station. AD CODE FULL FORM 

AD Code Nhava Sheva stand for Authorised Dealer Code (AD Code), without which one cannot do customs clearance of goods at customs port. An AD Code is a 14-digit numerical code issued by the bank with which IEC Holders has a current account to do import-export business. 

AD CODE LETTER FORMAT NHAVA SHEVA

IEC Holder Nhava Sheva has to get AD Code 14-digit numerical code  on bank’s letterhead, in a format prescribed by the Customs Port. A bank must deal in or be an authorised dealer of foreign currency in order to be able to grant an AD Code. This is in line with the purpose behind an AD Code,  to ensure that foreign currency transactions in an exporter’s current account are from legal trade.

Directorate of System implemented system for filing Customs documents through Remote EDI System (RES) like Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, IGM, EGM, CGM etc.

All Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Shipping Lines, Airlines or their agents who are authorized to file document (BE/SB/IGM/EGM/CGM etc.) through Remote EDI System (RES) with Valid Digital Signature Certificate DSC.

ICEGATE is internally linked with multiple partner agencies including RBI, Banks, DGFT, DGCIS, Ministry of Steel, Directorate of Valuation and other various Partner Government Agencies involved in EXIM trade enabling faster Customs clearance. All electronic documents/ messages being handled by the ICEGATE are processed at the Customs' end by the Indian Customs EDI System (ICES).

Nhava Sheva, JNPT is the largest container port in India and one of the most essential subcontinents harbours on the Western coast. The name comes from the two erstwhile villages that thrived on the shores of Thane Creek, where JNPT now stands.
